Honors Flower School - Floristry School in Plymouth
Established in 2017, our qualified floristry tutor, Lisa Harris HDF (ICSF), opened our own flower school, 'Honors Flower School' to help budding florists learn the skills of the trade. We offer floristry courses for all abilities, from beginners to advanced. Lisa has taught City and Guilds Qualifications at Bicton College for many years and NCFE courses at Duchy College Cornwall. We hold weekend Floral Workshops and Willow Weaving Workshops too!
Floristry courses in Plymouth
We hold a variety of floristry courses and workshops for all abilities. Perfect for those wanting to learn the basics of floristry, looking for a new hobby or thinking about a possible career change. With Lisa's 15+ years of experience in the industry and 12 years of floristry teaching experience, Lisa has provided the perfect relaxing, yet professional, environment at Honors Flowers School to learn all things flower-related. We hold a variety of 8-week courses: 'Floristry Beginners', 'Floristry Improver's', 'Floristry Advanced', and new to 2021, our 8-week 'Eco Friendly and Foam Free Floristry Design Course'.
All of our flower courses focus on many different aspects of floristry, including hand-tied designs, arrangements and wired designs. Each course includes lots of helpful tips and advice and covers all aspects of conditioning, flower care and flower preservation.
